‘Raaz Picchle Janam Ka’ issued notice for spreading 'superstition

The Bharat Jan Vigyan Jathan, an organisation engaged in creating scientific temperament among Indians, has issued a statutory notice to NDTV Imagine for allegedly spreading superstition through its programme titled 'Raj Pichhle Janam ka'.

The notice, issued through Rajkot-based advocate Harsha C Bhatt, has asked the television channel to stop telecast of the 'unscientific and imaginary' programme on past life saying such programme is nothing but a mockery of science.

The notice, a copy of which was also issued to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, has urged the Union Government to take steps to stop its telecast.

It also asked the channel for a public debate in the presence of experts and scientists and proves its credence scientifically.
