The actress who made her debut at the age of six in Waqt Ki Raftar and went on to climb the TV soap ladder as an adult by starring in acclaimed shows such as Dekh Bhai Dekh, Kasauti Zindagi Kay and several others, was in the hot seat of Sach Ka Saamna in Episode 6.
Rajeev Khandelwal quizzed her on everything from having an affair with a married man to having had plastic surgery. Urvashi was seen looking down mostly, breathing heavy and glancing at her mom seated with the audience.
But she came out of it unscathed as her answer to the question on the affair was a 'No' and the test proved her right and she admitted that she had had plastic surgery.
Dholakia's probably most embarrassing revelation came when Khandelwal queried her on whether she had enjoyed watching a male stripper take off his clothes at a party. She said yes and burst out laughing along with the host.
The soap star was also quite candid about the dark phases in her life. She admitted to having almost turned an alcoholic when things were rough.
Her honesty brought her up to Rupees five lakhs. But a seemingly harmless question compared to the more scandalous ones that preceded it, made her go back home empty-handed. Urvashi had brought her friend Shanaila to the show. And the question that got her out of the show penniless was the one on the friend. “Do you believe that your friend Shanaila is friends with you because you're famous?” asked Khandelwal. Urvashi replied 'No'. But the lie detector thought otherwise.
On the whole, the episode with Urvashi Dholakia was an exciting one where she didn't mince words or lie often. She sure did endear herself to us.
