Those with happy lives don't qualify to get on Sach Ka Saamna

Those with happy lives don't qualify to get on Sach Ka Saamna

What does it take to reach the hot seat, make easy money and enjoy 15 minutes of fame? Two DNA reporters riddhi and rashmi had their moment of truth while trying to get into the reality show Sach Ka Saamna -- that those with happy lives don't qualify.
After the screening, they found themselves muttering under their breath, "If only wishes were horses". Read on to know why they were rejected.

Riddhi's conversation

Sach Ka Saamna : What is your profession, how old are you?

Riddhi: I am a journalist and am 25.

Sach Ka Saamna: What would you say has been the most exciting thing in your life?

Riddhi: The fact that I am engaged to a guy not of my caste.

Sach Ka Saamna: Did your family readily accept him?

Riddhi: They had a few reservations earlier, but it's all cool now.

Sach Ka Saamna: What kind of relationship do your parents share with your fiance?

Riddhi: Just like one between any parents-in-law and son-in-law.

Sach Ka Saamna: Are you the only child?

Riddhi: I have a younger brother.

Sach Ka Saamna: How is your relationship with him?

Riddhi: Just like that between any elder sister and younger brother.

Sach Ka Saamna: You have a very happy life. You can't be on the show. We are looking for people who have seen lots of pain and sorrow in their life. Somebody who has done drug abuse or some such thing. The show works as therapy for them.

Rashmi's conversation

Sach Ka Saamna: Have you faced any struggle?

Rashmi: Not really. I live with my folks and have a great job.

Sach Ka Saamna: Tell us something about your childhood.

Rashmi: I had an average childhood. My parents faced problems in terms of money yet provided us kids all amenities. Thankfully, we managed very well.

Sach Ka Saamna: Any family problems?

Rashmi: Kind of. There were issues between my father and his brother (who is not alive anymore) regarding money, but it seemed to have healed with time.

Sach Ka Saamna: What about your siblings?

Rashmi: I have an older brother and we share an amazing rapport.

Sach Ka Saamna: What are your interests?

Rashmi: (At this point I felt it was becoming a job interview) I read a lot, practice Buddhism and chill out with friends. I also watch movies.

Sach Ka Saamna: Sorry, but you have lead a very good life. We are looking for people who want to come on the show and take it as a cleansing process. We want people to confess and accept a lot of things which they wouldn't otherwise.
